Addiction Counselor – Telehealth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate Member readiness and identify the appropriate level of care.

• Facilitate both group and individual counseling sessions utilizing Affect’s evidence-based curriculum.

• Provide crisis support and coordinate suitable referrals as necessary.

• Maintain prompt and accurate documentation within our electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Collaborate with clinical supervisors on personalized treatment and discharge planning.

• Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and all pertinent state guidelines.

• Applicants are required to hold a license in their respective state, with all credentials needing to be verified via the State Board’s website as part of the application procedure.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active and verifiable license from one of the following Illinois licenses: CADC, CRADC, LCPC, or LCSW, along with your state of residence. All credentials must be verified through the State Board’s website during the application process.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, EMR systems, and telehealth platforms.

• A strong passion for supporting individuals in recovery and fostering therapeutic relationships.

• Comfortable working independently as well as within a collaborative team in a dynamic, mission-driven startup environment.

• Possess a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and reliable internet access.
