This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, implement, and sustain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enhance endpoint security throughout the organization.
• Ensure compliance of all endpoints with Air Force security regulations and standards.
• Perform regular audits and assessments to detect and address non-compliance issues.
• Collaborate with our security experts to incorporate advanced security practices into endpoint policies.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of endpoint policies, recommending enhancements to maintain a competitive edge.
• Possess knowledge of AD Sites and Services to design and troubleshoot new program office locations.
• Guarantee optimal performance and availability of Active Directory services across all locations.
• Create and manage security groups for tool-based role-based access control (RBAC) delegations.
• Establish and configure service accounts as needed for various applications and services.
• Provide secondary support to team members regarding Active Directory-related dependencies.
• Document processes and procedures related to endpoint policy management and Active Directory configurations.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• More than 10 years of relevant experience (A Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field may substitute for 5 years of experience).
• At least 5 years of experience in Active Directory administration, particularly in endpoint policy management and security hardening.
• Must have proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy management.
• Strong comprehension of AD Sites and Services and its configuration.
• Experience with role-based access control (RBAC) and the management of security groups.
• Knowledge of best practices in endpoint security and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Strong skills in communication and collaboration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune (expertise is not mandatory).
• Willingness to remain informed about the latest cybersecurity trends and emerging security tools.
• Required DoD 8140 compliant certification such as CompTIA Security+.
