This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee tasks related to accreditation and collaborate with both internal and external team members to guarantee that pharmacies adhere to accreditation standards.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with accreditation and quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members to meet service expectations and performance targets for pharmacies that are seeking or maintaining accreditation.
• Engage with management, supervisors, and staff to identify training needs and adapt to changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and business technologies.
• Aid in staff training and the implementation of processes associated with accreditation standards, Continuous Quality Improvement, Performance Improvement projects, Quality Management, and compliance with accreditation.
• Generate reports and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in both internal and external meetings and complete related tasks.
• Support activities at regional and enterprise levels.
• Uphold corporate compliance and legal standards as per board of pharmacy inspection requirements.
• Address requests from internal departments, clients, audit entities, or regulatory bodies promptly.
• Monitor processes and Standard Operating Procedures to enhance efficiency and uphold accreditation compliance.
• Report any allegations of impropriety to the Compliance Department.
• Fulfill mandatory training and maintain consistent attendance.
• Undertake additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.
• Possession of a current, unrestricted National and/or State Certified Pharmacy Technician license.
• At least 3 years of experience in compliance, healthcare, quality, and/or accreditation.
• Familiarity with ACHC and/or URAC specialty pharmacy accreditation.
• Understanding of pharmacy accreditation requirements, including those set by ACHC and URAC Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation.
• Knowledge of widely accepted pharmacy principles, practices, and procedures.
• Capability to work efficiently in a team environment and communicate effectively using virtual tools with team members located in various regions.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
• Ability to perform effectively with limited information and in situations with moderate ambiguity.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in interacting with diverse individuals to provide pharmacy support.
• Ability to maintain high attention to detail and minimize errors.
• Alert, attentive, and precise in work execution.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to learn tools such as Smartsheet, Confluence, and others as necessary.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to manage the mental and emotional demands of the role.
• Must remain free from exclusion on OIG and SAMS Medicare/Medicaid lists.
• Required training must be completed within specified timeframes.
