This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Review and accurately process a significant volume of invoices, ensuring completeness and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Code and input invoices into the financial system, guaranteeing correct account allocation and classification of cost centers.
• Conduct timely reconciliation of departmental credit cards with associated receipts, ensuring precision.
• Respond to vendor inquiries, resolve issues related to payments, and manage vendor statements and reconciliations.
• Support audit processes, as well as month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
• Ensure prompt processing of expense reimbursements by verifying all submitted expense reports in accordance with the travel and expense reimbursement policy.
• Assist with 1099 submissions and other necessary regulatory filings.
• Collaborate with the AP Manager on ad hoc reporting and projects as needed.
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in general accounting operations.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP is essential.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory.
• A passion for emerging technologies and systems is a must.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel and other MS Office applications are required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Proven problem-solving capabilities and efficiency in workflow are essential.
• Must be able to meet tight deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• A keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
• Experience in the insurance industry is not necessary but is considered a plus.
