Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Process and code a large volume of vendor invoices using NetSuite.

• Cultivate vendor relationships and address inquiries in a timely manner.

• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies related to invoices and payments.

• Maintain precise vendor records along with supporting documentation.

• Reconcile Accounts Payable Aging reports.

• Facilitate the processing of purchase order backed invoices and perform three-way matching.

• Assist with month-end Accounts Payable closing activities.

• Ensure compliance with established accounting protocols and internal controls.

• Generate and distribute customer invoices.

• Conduct collection activities and follow up on outstanding balances.

• Communicate with customers regarding overdue accounts.

• Reconcile Accounts Receivable Aging reports.

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.

• Assist with month-end Accounts Receivable closing activities.

• Support the ongoing development of Accounts Receivable processes as transaction volume grows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience with NetSuite, capable of working independently from day one.

• At least 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or general accounting.

• Strong organizational skills paired with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.

• Professional, responsive, and reliable work ethic.

• Experience in the manufacturing industry (Preferred).

• Familiarity with inventory-related payables and purchase order workflows (Preferred).

• Knowledge of three-way matching processes (Preferred).

• Experience with Ramp or similar spend management platforms (Preferred).

• Exposure to Avalara or sales and use tax procedures (Preferred).
