This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Prepare journal entries for designated accounts and review general ledger accounts and financial statements for reasonableness.
• Conduct reconciliations for assigned accounts.
• Assist with the monthly fluctuation analysis by gathering data as requested by the Manager or Senior Accountant.
• Identify areas of inefficiency in daily operations and collaborate with the Senior Accountant to develop solutions.
• Detect events such as missing rent, utilities, or charges posted to incorrect accounts.
• As needed, support the Senior Accountant in estimating amounts to accrue, defer, reverse, or alter based on historical data and business knowledge.
• Validate balances against supporting documentation and sources such as operating systems and bank statements.
• Identify, research, and resolve any unusual balances in the trial balance and profit & loss accounts.
• Collaborate with Seniors and Managers to promote personal career development.
• Ensure the security and integrity of Rentokil North America’s financial information.
• Assist the Senior Accountant with ad-hoc financial analyses.
• Support Internal and External Audits by compiling requested data and documentation.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience - Required.
• MBA in finance, accounting, or a related field - Preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience within a multi-unit organization.
• Ability to establish strong working relationships with leaders and act as a partner in all financial-related decisions.
• Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while maintaining a focus on delivering repeatable, reliable solutions with flawless execution and exceptional customer service.
• Capable of working independently, setting personal priorities and objectives with leadership support.
• Proficient in focusing on desired outcomes, determining importance and urgency, identifying next steps, and effectively meeting deadlines to achieve goals.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be willing to work night shift schedules (US hours) and during Philippine holidays.
• Must be able to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa when office work resumes (temporary work from home).
