This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Assess customer strategies and offer insights on how Autodesk solutions can align with their objectives and results.
• Act as the primary technology authority within account teams, spearheading customer planning, engagement processes, and sales content curation.
• Create technical business cases for Autodesk offerings through discovery workshops and collaborative solution development with clients.
• Guide technical discovery processes to identify business challenges and propose solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Manage technical relationships by partnering with internal subject matter experts to equip customers with the necessary knowledge during sales interactions.
• Cultivate advocates within accounts to enhance the success of Autodesk solutions.
• Exhibit thought leadership to customers and within the industries we serve, positioning Autodesk as a strategic ally.
• Collaborate with channel partners and customer success teams to ensure customer satisfaction and promote adoption.
• Deliver engaging presentations and messaging that resonate from executive leadership down to all levels.
• Communicate Autodesk’s competitive positioning effectively to customers.
• Stay informed about industry and global trends, generating new ideas to drive revenue growth.
• Influence product development and direction through customer feedback and identified business opportunities.
• Provide mentorship for channel partners on technical sales initiatives.
• Partner with sales executives and channel partners to strategize and execute the technical components of account plans for specific clients.
• Lead whitespace plan development to identify new opportunities within the existing account base.
• Collaborate with sales, business development, product, marketing, channel partners, or customer success teams for effective execution.
• Participate in and contribute to the account planning process.
• Align with customer decision-makers to achieve technical closure on proposed solutions.
• Develop and present proposals and demonstrations that address customer business challenges.
• Clearly articulate and sell Autodesk’s unique value proposition in sales scenarios.
• Capture metrics to quantify and validate the customer’s return on investment, supporting the impact on their goals and outcomes.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction.
• Over 7 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or Owner domain/industry.
• Technical expertise in Autodesk solutions in AEC, such as Revit, Civil 3D, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and BIM 360, or comparable industry software.
• Strong skills in selling and persuasion.
• Ability to independently manage workload and balance priorities effectively.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% (by air and car) to client locations and Autodesk-sponsored events.
