Account Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Review and validate Bills of Lading (BOLs), Proofs of Delivery (PODs), and various freight documents for precision and thoroughness.

• Prepare, process, and distribute customer invoices promptly and accurately.

• Submit necessary documentation to factoring firms in accordance with set timelines.

• Confirm freight charges and investigate any billing discrepancies.

• Provide carriers with updates on payment status and rate confirmations.

• Maintain precise records of invoices, payments, and supporting documents.

• Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Microsoft Excel, and email tools to oversee daily operations.

• Engage professionally with carriers, customers, factoring companies, and internal teams to address issues related to documentation, billing, and payments.

• Balance multiple tasks while adhering to deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

• Ensure adherence to company policies and transportation documentation standards.

• Assist with various administrative and operational tasks as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, or a related field.

• Familiarity with freight documentation, invoicing, billing, or customer account management.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is a plus.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.

• Self-driven with the capacity to work independently in a remote setting.
