Accessories Technical Leader – Product Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor the Americas Accessories Product Service team in technical matters.

• Provide direct technical assistance to global power plants utilizing GE Vernova equipment through Engineering Response (ER) cases.

• Support RCA leaders in navigating challenges during intricate root cause analysis investigations for significant business issues.

• Offer GE Vernova technical insights to customers or site representatives via user conferences, webinars, and technical documentation.

• Relay technical information and business risks to internal stakeholders effectively.

• Mentor the team to consistently improve their communication skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience with GE/Alstom accessory and/or power plant systems.

• Proficient in addressing unfamiliar technical challenges.

• Eagerness to guide engineers in utilizing problem-solving techniques under pressure.

• Excellent communication skills at all levels, including field engineers, site engineers, plant managers, and GE Vernova leadership.

• Capability to swiftly adjust to evolving priorities across various projects.

• A humble, open, collaborative, and continuously learning mindset.

• Willingness to travel to customer locations to assist with issue resolution when required.
