This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.
• Striving for excellence in all deliverables.
• Operates efficiently and effectively within the technical limitations of production.
• Produces high-quality artwork that meets or surpasses studio standards.
• Regularly updates the Lead Artist on the progress of tasks.
• Seeks guidance and approval from the Lead Artist as necessary for tasks, project initiatives, and milestones.
• Proactively manages personal time and informs Managers and Lead Artists ahead of potential roadblocks and challenges.
• Continuously hones artistic skills and learns new software and in-house tools.
• Actively contributes to fostering a positive team atmosphere.
• Full proficiency in the software packages and tools relevant to the gaming industry listed below.
• 3ds Max/Maya.
• Substance Painter.
• Zbrush.
• Photoshop.
• Understanding of PBR workflow.
• Surface familiarity with the following software and tools.
• Blender.
• Intermediate proficiency in these tools:
• Unreal Engine Character Setup.
• Unreal Engine Rendering (Lighting, Rendering).
• Highly skilled in one of the following areas and/or intermediate in all:
• Human Anatomy.
• Creature Anatomy.
• Hard Surface Modeling.
• Cloth Sculpting or Simulation.
• A strong passion for game development.
• Expertise in Game Engine technologies such as Unreal, including asset integration.
• Experience with the game art asset pipeline, including high-poly and efficient game-ready low-poly modeling, texturing, and baking.
