YouTube Script Writer – Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and refine compelling scripts for YouTube videos ranging from 800 to 5,000 words

• Develop captivating introductions that engage viewers within the first 30 seconds

• Organize scripts to ensure maximum audience retention throughout each video

• Conduct topic research and verify content accuracy

• Collaborate with the production team on titles, thumbnails, and pacing guidelines

• Modify scripts based on performance metrics to enhance effectiveness

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in writing scripts for YouTube; submission of channel links or samples is mandatory

• Strong capability to create hooks that attract viewer interest

• In-depth knowledge of audience retention concepts, including loops, payoffs, and pattern interruptions

• Quick and polished writing skills with the ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality

• Excellent editing abilities and meticulous attention to detail

• Competence in researching topics and verifying content for precision

• Provide links to 2–3 YouTube channels or videos you have written for

• Original writing sample for a List25-style introduction of 150–200 words

• Bonus: familiarity with List25's style or experience in the list/trivia genre

• Nice to have: experience in analyzing YouTube analytics

• Nice to have: background in journalism, copywriting, or broadcast writing

• Nice to have: enthusiasm for trivia, history, science, or pop culture
