Workers Compensation Claims Examiner – CT, MA, NH, RI, VT Jurisdictional Knowledge

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluating and managing claims through well-structured action plans to ensure appropriate and timely resolutions by investigating and collecting information to assess the exposure on the claim.

• Negotiating the settlement of claims within the established authority limits.

• Communicating the status of claims processing and activities with both the claimant and the client.

• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and addressing requests for directions in a professional and timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of claims management experience or a comparable combination of education and experience is required.

• A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.

• Knowledge of jurisdictions: CT, MA, NH, RI, VT.

• Licensing requirements: Must be licensed in CT, NH, RI, or VT.
