This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +5 more states.
• Evaluate Medical Only & Lost-Time Workers Compensation claims for our esteemed clients to ascertain due benefits.
• Maintain ongoing adjudication of claims in line with service expectations, best practices in the industry, and specific client requirements.
• Analyze and process claims utilizing well-structured action plans to achieve appropriate and timely resolutions.
• Investigate and collect information to assess the claim's exposure.
• Negotiate settlements for claims within the assigned authority.
• Communicate claim activities and processing updates with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to requests for direction in a professional and timely manner.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in claims management or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• A High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is preferred.
• Knowledge of jurisdictions: NY, VT, & ME (training provided for other states).
• NY & VT licensing is preferred but not mandatory.
