
Workday Configuration Analyst – Core and Advanced Compensation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Designing, configuring, and maintaining Workday Core Compensation along with Advanced Compensation processes.
• Collaborating with Workday Core and Compensation Product Owners, as well as business stakeholders, to comprehend core and compensation needs and effectively translate them into system configurations within Workday.
• Designing and configuring Baker Hughes' ongoing Advanced Compensation to accommodate various employee groups, which includes base salary structures, variable pay plans, bonuses, incentives, and equity programs.
• Partnering with the Workday Compensation Product Owner to prioritize and manage necessary system modifications to facilitate required changes by the business.
• Understanding the internal change management process to ensure compliance with our internal review and audit protocols.
• Conducting system testing, validating configurations, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data within the Workday system.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and IT, to ensure the seamless integration and alignment of compensation programs with other HR systems and processes.
• Providing ongoing support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution related to core and compensation modules and configurations.
• Analyzing compensation data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for enhancement, and making recommendations to improve the overall compensation strategy.
• Possess a bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Workday Compensation are preferred.
• Have extensive experience in configuring and implementing the Workday Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules for global organizations.
• Strong understanding of compensation principles, practices, and methodologies is essential.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, with the capability to interpret and present complex compensation data effectively.
• Basic understanding of Workday Core, Recruiting, and Talent modules and how they integrate with Advanced Compensation.
• Knowledge of Time and Absence configuration is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
