WordPress Developer – Full Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Custom WordPress Development: Create and maintain tailored WordPress websites from Figma or design files utilizing advanced HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

• Front-End UI Implementation: Convert innovative design concepts into pixel-perfect, responsive, and high-performing front-end interfaces.

• Theme and Plugin Customization: Adjust themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements using efficient PHP logic and JavaScript enhancements.

• Website Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Address bug fixes, enhance performance, and perform regular updates on WordPress core/plugins.

• Collaborative Project Execution: Collaborate closely with strategy and design teams to provide seamless user experiences that align with project objectives.

• Code Quality & Best Practices: Produce clean, reusable, and scalable code with a focus on detail and a commitment to quality assurance, testing, and debugging.

• Proactive Development Contribution: Offer insights to enhance website performance, user experience, and development workflow efficiency.

• Task & Time Management: Work within project timelines using tools like ClickUp, Asana, Trello, or similar, while ensuring clear and timely communication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in **WordPress**, including custom theme development.

• Proficiency in **HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and PHP**.

• Experience in working from design files (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and converting them into responsive websites.

• Solid grasp of **cross-browser compatibility**, performance optimization, and SEO best practices.

• Strong debugging capabilities and experience with version control (e.g. Git).

• Ability to collaborate effectively with design, strategy, and content teams.

• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• **Nice-to-Haves**

• Experience with WooCommerce or other e-commerce platforms.

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Vue).

• Experience in developing WordPress plugins.
