This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and oversee WordPress-based web properties, which include custom themes and plugins.
• Create and refresh landing pages, campaign pages, and various sections of the site in close partnership with the Marketing and Design teams.
• Implement front-end code that is responsive, accessible, and compatible across different browsers (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Enhance site performance by focusing on page speed, Core Web Vitals, and adhering to SEO best practices.
• Oversee WordPress configuration, perform plugin updates, and strengthen security measures.
• Integrate third-party tools and APIs, including those for CRM, marketing automation, and analytics.
• Diagnose and resolve front-end and back-end issues promptly.
• Maintain clean, well-documented code while adhering to established development standards.
• Assist in QA and testing procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality releases.
• Collaborate asynchronously with a remote-first team across Marketing, Design, and Operations.
• Over 5 years of professional web development experience, with a strong emphasis on WordPress.
• High level of proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (both vanilla and modern frameworks).
• Practical experience in building and customizing WordPress themes and plugins from the ground up.
• Familiarity with WordPress VIP, including its hosting environment, deployment workflows, and coding standards.
• Knowledge of page builders such as Elementor, Gutenberg, or similar tools.
• Experience with integrations involving HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, or comparable platforms.
• Understanding of web performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress security best practices and site hardening techniques.
• Experience with Git-based version control workflows.
• Capability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
• Excellent written communication skills for effective asynchronous collaboration.
