This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.
• Develop and implement the Physical AI data strategy across egocentric capture, humanoid robotics, industrial/warehouse automation, and autonomous vehicles.
• Take ownership of the profit and loss for the emerging Physical AI business.
• Anticipate the needs of frontier robotics labs and hardware companies 12–18 months ahead of mainstream demand and work towards fulfilling those needs.
• Ensure that Physical AI methodologies are integrated into the core QA platform.
• Manage the operational lab, including workforce, equipment, safety protocols, data capture workflows, and output quality.
• Scale lab capacity in alignment with commercial commitments, managing a combination of employees and external partners.
• Establish quality assurance standards for Physical AI data that are compatible with the company's agentic LLM-QA verification system.
• Promote ongoing improvements in data collection efficiency, annotation quality, and fidelity of simulation environments.
• Build and maintain the partner ecosystem, including robotics hardware manufacturers, simulation platform providers, academic institutions, and domain experts.
• Lead commercial engagements with Physical AI customers from initial scoping through to delivery and expansion.
• Identify and secure strategic partnerships that enhance capabilities, such as hardware access, proprietary environments, and domain datasets.
• Represent the company at industry forums and research conferences across Europe and the US.
• Recruit, develop, and retain data engineers, robotics specialists, and project leaders.
• Organize the function to accommodate both customized projects and productized delivery.
• Act as the internal authority and advocate for Physical AI, educating the broader organization on the demands of Wave 5.
• Proven experience in building functions from the ground up, rather than merely managing established organizations.
• Direct experience in constructing or scaling data pipelines for robotics, autonomous systems, or physical AI—not solely software AI.
• Demonstrated capability in closing and managing strategic partnerships with hardware vendors, research institutions, or enterprise clients.
• Familiarity with robotics hardware, including sensors, constraints in embodied data collection, and gaps from simulation to physical implementations.
• Commercial acumen to scope, price, and negotiate complex data engagements with senior technical decision-makers.
• Established credibility in the Physical AI or robotics sector, with a network and reputation that facilitate opportunities.
• Preferred: Experience with egocentric/wearable data capture, humanoid robot training data, AV sensor fusion datasets, or warehouse automation settings.
• Understanding of RLHF/RLVR and the application of human feedback pipelines to physical systems.
• Background in data services, annotation platforms, or AI infrastructure.
• Active relationships with key Physical AI labs or hardware manufacturers such as Tesla, Unitree, Boston Dynamics, Figure, Apptronik, 1X, Waymo, Mobileye, or similar.
• Connections to academic robotics programs like CMU, ETH Zurich, Oxford, MIT, or equivalent.
• Join an international and dynamic environment that drives innovation and establishes new standards in the AI and technology sectors.
• Competitive compensation package, including base salary, bonuses, and employee stock ownership plans (ESOP).
• Paid time off (PTO) and benefits vary depending on location.
• Flexible work options including full remote or hybrid models if based in the Netherlands or Serbia.
• IT setup and home office allowances.
• Be part of an international and dynamic environment that drives innovation and sets new standards in the AI and technology sector.
