Virtual Real Estate Underwriter / Acquisitions Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Conduct daily searches of the Austin-area MLS to pinpoint properties that fall within our acquisition criteria.

• Assess and categorize all incoming prospects (agents, wholesalers, on/off-market).

• Collect property, comparable, rental, and market information; identify any data deficiencies.

• Analyze various exit strategies (flip, BRRRR hold, ADU/DADU, condo sale).

• Provide clear investment recommendations backed by sound reasoning.

• Keep organized, version-controlled deal documentation in Google Sheets, Smartsheet, Dropbox, and MLS.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in US real estate underwriting (single-family and small multifamily, with a focus on value-add).

• Demonstrated capability to independently determine Pass/Keep/Escalate recommendations.

• In-depth knowledge of ARV analysis, comparables, investor buy boxes, pro formas, and deal mathematics.

• Advanced skills in Google Sheets or Excel.

• Strong grasp of US residential real estate financing structures and terminology.

• Capable of identifying missing data, flagging non-viable deals, and autonomously guiding deals from initial lead to final analysis.
