This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Edit longer client videos into concise social media clips.

• Identify impactful moments, hooks, and pertinent excerpts based on provided briefs.

• Produce videos usually under 45 seconds, or up to one minute when necessary.

• Incorporate subtitles, captions, and visible design elements as required.

• Ensure video quality remains sharp, clear, and suitable for social media platforms.

• Maintain clean and clear audio free from unnecessary background noise.

• Edit content for platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and others.

• Adhere to client strategy, brand guidelines, and content calendar specifications.

• Pose clear questions early on when the brief lacks clarity.

• Deliver edits within the agreed-upon weekly or monthly timelines.

• Complete revisions efficiently and with professionalism.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating short-form video editing skills.

• Experience in transforming long-form content into brief social clips.

• Excellent comprehension of the English language.

• Solid understanding of social-first content and effective storytelling techniques.

• Ability to recognize strong hooks and engaging moments without relying on timestamps.

• Keen attention to pacing, captions, readability, and audio quality.

• Comfortable working from written briefs and client strategy documentation.

• Dependable, organized, and driven by deadlines.

• Capable of working remotely and independently.

• Open to receiving feedback and making revisions.

• Experience in editing content for businesses, founders, entrepreneurs, coaching, or professional services is advantageous.
