Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Edit high-impact short-form videos (Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts) utilizing provided raw footage, product demonstrations, and influencer content.

• Develop captivating on-screen captions, subtitles, text overlays, and visual hooks that adhere to brand guidelines.

• Create refined edits featuring transitions, motion graphics, sound effects, and basic animations to enhance viewer engagement.

• Transform long-form content into various short-form assets tailored for different social media platforms.

• Compose concise and direct-response social captions for the finished content.

• Upload and schedule completed content as Drafts on Later.com for final client assessment and approval.

• Organize and maintain video assets, project files, templates, and content libraries to support efficient production workflows.

• Ensure that all content is delivered accurately, consistently, and within the agreed-upon turnaround times.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in professional video editing for social media or e-commerce brands.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or comparable editing software.

• Experience with Adobe After Effects or motion graphics is highly valued.

• Strong comprehension of effective short-form video content and current trends on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.

• Familiarity with Later.com or similar scheduling tools is preferred.

• Exceptional attention to detail along with strong organizational and file management abilities.

• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English communication.

• Capacity to handle multiple editing projects while consistently meeting deadlines.
