This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Edit short-form vertical videos using Adobe Premiere Pro from selected source clips.

• Craft engaging 45 to 90-second edits by trimming moments that feature strong hooks and promote high viewer retention.

• Incorporate captions that adhere to the provided brand style.

• Enhance pacing and engagement by adding sound effects and music.

• Source relevant supporting images, videos, memes, and screenshots to enrich the storytelling.

• Implement punch-ins, motion, and visual emphasis as needed.

• Perform basic color correction and ensure a consistent visual style across all footage.

• Align with the established editing style and pacing across all projects.

• Export finished edits while efficiently incorporating creative feedback.

• Make independent creative choices regarding pacing, trims, visual support, and sound design, while adhering to the established style.

• Identify when visuals are necessary to enhance dialogue instead of leaving the screen static.

• Utilize comedic timing and purposeful humor where suitable.

• Comprehend viewer retention principles and actively edit to maintain attention throughout the content.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro with a proven history of editing short-form vertical content.

• Experience in editing for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts, with a solid understanding of platform-specific pacing and viewer retention.

• Ability to independently source relevant visual assets, including images, clips, memes, and screenshots.

• A genuine passion for watching and analyzing YouTube and short-form content, beyond just editing.
