Vice President, Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of daily engineering operations, focusing on both delivery and team development.

• Guide engineering directors and influence the operational practices of the team.

• Establish systems for effective planning, release coordination, and collaboration across teams.

• Oversee quality assurance and operational discipline, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and testing.

• Collaborate with the CTO to formulate hiring and performance management strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in leadership roles within large-scale engineering (40–100 engineers).

• Practical operator capable of making advancements with partial information.

• Proven track record of delivering results: launched products and enhanced systems.

• Proficient in infrastructure and platform concepts to effectively engage engineers.

• Experience in developing managers and holding them accountable for their performance.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and related tools.
