Vice President, Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate and execute the technology strategy that aligns with Cyara’s business aims and objectives.

• Emphasize on achieving technical excellence and delivering scalable products.

• Integrate AI capabilities throughout the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.

• Over 15 years of experience in engineering leadership positions, including oversight of large, intricate SaaS or cloud-native engineering teams.

• A proven history of constructing and scaling high-performing engineering teams (50+ engineers, multi-discipline, global) and consistently delivering complex software products at scale.

• Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, DevOps practices, cloud architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.

• Demonstrated experience with SaaS platforms, managing aspects of scalability, reliability, performance, multi-tenant systems, and global delivery.

• AI/ML experience: you have designed, deployed, and scaled machine learning or generative AI systems in production; you are knowledgeable in model training, inference pipelines, MLOps, vector retrieval, embeddings, NLP, generative AI, etc.

• A strategic thinker with robust business acumen, capable of aligning technology strategy with business results, fostering innovation, and delivering measurable ROI.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities. You can sway senior stakeholders, collaborate across functions, and cultivate a culture of excellence.

• Experience with private equity-backed firms or in fast-paced growth environments is an advantage.

• A strong passion for customer-centric innovation and familiarity with customer experience / CX technology is preferred.
