This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark.
• Responsible for cultivating long-term relationships with suppliers and enhancing external partnerships.
• Tasked with optimizing procurement expenditures across the designated purchase categories.
• Accountable for improving contracts within the purchase categories assigned to this role.
• Responsible for registering and monitoring the performance and results of gameplan projects within the Procurement reporting tool (PPM).
• Ensure adherence to the global procurement process in line with Maersk's global and local business principles, policies, and standards.
• Charged with developing category strategies that align with area business plans.
• Facilitate sustainable and profitable growth through top-tier sourcing, enhancing operational behaviors, and fostering supplier innovation.
• Conduct supplier market/category/supply risk analyses and create Total Value Ownership models in collaboration with internal users and support functions.
• Draft contracts in both Spanish and English and oversee the comprehensive contracting process.
• Oversee vendor onboarding processes.
• Manage service performance; execute corrective measures and escalate issues proactively.
• Ensure that SLAs are established and updated promptly to reflect any pertinent changes.
• Guarantee that legal, HSSE, policy, and ESG obligations are fulfilled and documented.
• Validate invoices, reimbursements, advances/amortization, and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
• Conduct MOR/QBR sessions; maintain action and decision logs.
• Manage the CR process; evaluate claims by components and coordinate cross-functional reviews.
• Over 2 years of direct experience in Procurement and/or Sourcing.
• Preferred experience in the 3PL/4PL logistics sector or industry.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Customs, or related fields.
• Strong negotiation and management skills to optimize contract outcomes and sourcing negotiations.
• A growth-oriented mindset and a dedication to continuous improvement.
• Excellent planning and prioritization abilities to efficiently manage work activities.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a cross-departmental team.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Power BI, ERPs, and E-Procurement Systems.
• Proficient in English.
