Valuation Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Generate valuations for pre-owned vehicles and project values when necessary.

• Evaluate the existing vehicle market for both passenger and commercial vehicles.

• Ensure that JD Power’s monthly valuations and forecasts are precise, timely, and reflective of market conditions.

• Address valuation inquiries with clear, data-supported justifications.

• Review, modify, and finalize SAE values, or employ alternative methods when SAE is not available.

• Guarantee accurate and timely forecast values by analyzing current model performance, market trends, make/model strategies, and adjusting values as needed.

• Evaluate new models, updates, and brands to establish initial used and forecast valuations.

• Operate within strict governance, complying with policies and management directives.

• Participate in industry events to gather market and product insights and share findings with the team.

• Uphold valuation accuracy as a fundamental aspect of our operations.

• Identify and monitor key market trends and influencing factors within the automotive industry.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed secondary education.

• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and an affinity for IT.

• Excellent command of Dutch, French, and English.

• Good command of German.

• Structured, goal-oriented, and analytical work approach.

• Basic understanding of statistics.

• Experience in analyzing large datasets using BI tools (preferably Tableau).

• Knowledge of the automotive market and industry.

• Strong team spirit, integrity, and professionalism.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.
