UXDI Instructor Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver engaging classroom instruction Monday through Friday, for approximately 8 hours each day, over a 10-14 week program period.

• Instructors are expected to dedicate several hours weekly to lesson and material preparation, utilizing existing GA curriculum resources.

• Collaborate closely with co-instructors or teaching assistants to provide students with timely and constructive feedback on their progress.

• Partner with GA staff and the teaching team to effectively address the diverse needs and learning styles of students.

• Assist students in creating an impressive final project to demonstrate their skills to potential employers.

• Cultivate a vibrant, collaborative, and supportive classroom environment.

• Motivate students to overcome the challenges of acquiring new skills.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in user experience design.

• Proficiency in some or all of the following areas: Figma, the UX Process, User Research and Personas, Usability Testing, UX Analysis, Information Architecture, Interface Design, Wireframing, Prototyping, Analytics and Optimization, Mobile UX, and/or HTML/CSS.

• A bachelor’s degree or at least 10 years of relevant experience in place of a 4-year degree.

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience within the last five years; 3 years preferred.

• Strong moral character and sound decision-making skills.

• Competence in language, mathematics, reasoning, and computer skills that ensure effective teaching.
