Turkish Language Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Accurately interpret messages between Turkish and English, ensuring the preservation of clarity, tone, and style, while following grammatical and syntactical rules.

• Provide precise renditions of conversations, including all details, and be prepared to handle challenging calls in a professional manner.

• Employ strong customer service and communication skills, demonstrating clear enunciation and a professional voice.

• Follow client instructions meticulously, efficiently manage call flow, and refrain from engaging directly with limited English speakers without the client's consent.

• Maintain composure during calls, especially in situations where speakers may become distressed or incoherent.

• Be punctual and available for scheduled shifts.

• Ensure reliable internet access for effective work-related communication.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Proficiency in English and Turkish (C2, C1, B2 levels).

• Familiarity with cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions in both languages.

• Exceptional listening, retention, and note-taking abilities to maintain a high level of accuracy.

• Capacity to remain neutral and objective during conversations.

• Ability to clarify cultural meanings as needed to prevent miscommunication.

• Applicants should be willing to work Rotational Shifts (including nights).
