This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support Travel Advisors in delivering exceptional service to Andrew Harper members.
• Verify rates and availability for cruises, trains, hotels, flights, insurance, and related travel services.
• Follow up on pending leads, quotes, and inquiries.
• Provide out-of-office coverage when an advisor is unavailable.
• Attach confirmations, itineraries, vendor invoices, and other necessary documentation to reservation cards.
• Communicate with members on behalf of advisors to maintain ongoing dialogue and request additional information.
• Confirm and update member details in ClientBase.
• Send confirmations that require invoicing to the accounting department.
• Manage advisor changes and cancellations in ClientBase and create back-office quality-control tasks.
• Conduct weekly calls with advisor teams to review leads and establish ClientBase reminders and tasks.
• Generate Umapped itineraries and other relevant documents for Travel Advisors.
• Assist with costing forms and ensure margin accuracy to support revenue generation.
• Act as the first point of contact for member calls, emails, web requests, and out-of-office coverage when assigned advisors are unavailable.
• Participate in department and company-wide meetings and contribute to events.
• Support colleagues, engage in discussions, share insights, and help foster consensus.
• Provide updated information on company matters as requested.
• Address client concerns and assist in preventing escalation.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a travel advisor.
• Strong preference for luxury leisure travel experience and knowledge.
• GDS (Sabre) experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A college degree is strongly preferred.
• Openness to learning and growing while remaining adaptable to changes.
• Excellent attention to detail and sales acumen.
• Capability to positively represent, support, and contribute to Andrew Harper’s business.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.
• Ability to apply creative and critical thinking to understand needs and develop cost-effective solutions.
• Proficient in using standard office tools and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and MS Outlook.
• Experience with ClientBase software and itinerary tools such as Umapped.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Positive demeanor and ability to maintain a smile under all circumstances.
• Skill in diffusing and responding to client concerns to prevent escalation.
• Trustworthy, honest, and committed to maintaining strong personal integrity.
• Ability to coordinate work schedules with supervisors.
