This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the workflows for translation and editing
• Collaborate with translators, editors, and internal teams
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality BSL content in accordance with ISO standards
• Conduct quality checks on BSL translations, subtitles, and visual alignment
• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to update them on progress and delivery
• Keep precise records and workflows that comply with ISO requirements
• Facilitate ongoing improvements within the translation department
• Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
• A degree in Translation (e.g., BA/MA in Translation or Translation & Interpreting) along with a minimum of 2 years of full-time professional translation experience.
• A degree in a different field combined with at least 2 years of full-time professional translation experience.
• No degree is necessary if you have a minimum of 5 years of full-time professional BSL translation experience.
• Preferred experience in coordinating translation or language services
• Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
• Comfortable working with subtitles, editing, and BSL visual alignment
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management abilities
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
• Video editing experience, ideally with BSL videos, translations, and subtitling
• Familiarity with Media Encoder and Premier-Pro
