This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct tower construction tasks, which include assembling and erecting towers, installing antennas, mounting hardware, and connecting coax and connectors, as well as grounding, testing, positioning, and optimizing antennas and lines.
• Interpret plans, site layouts, and tower schematics.
• Install, connect, and test both underground and above-ground grounding systems.
• Complete tasks efficiently and promptly by organizing, prioritizing, and mobilizing personnel and materials to adhere to the schedule.
• Keep the Tower Crew Lead informed about construction progress, concerns, and any deviations from the plans or established timelines.
• Determine all materials and resources necessary for project completion.
• Create a construction "punch list" of items to be addressed and ensure their resolution prior to the customer's inspection.
• Uphold and implement all SBA and OSHA safety protocols, conducting daily safety inspections of equipment before use.
• Collaborate with the Construction Supervisor and Tower Crew Lead to assess job requirements, including labor and materials.
• Availability for overtime, including weekends and evening hours, is essential.
• Must be able to successfully complete all components of RMC training classes.
• Additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of recent tower climbing experience.
• Proficiency in standard knots and the ability to read blueprints, details, and specifications is required.
• Familiarity and capability to operate test equipment (e.g., RF sweep gear, PIM, and Fiber testing are preferred).
• Must have the physical capacity to climb to heights of up to 500 feet.
• Willingness to travel domestically 90% of the time and operate a company vehicle at the CMV level.
• A valid government-issued driver's license and a Health Services/Drivers License - MDOT Medical Physical are required.
