This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and resolve outstanding debt accounts through effective and professional communication.
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements to optimize recoveries.
• Keep precise records of all customer interactions and account activities.
• Perform skip tracing to locate customers and ensure prompt follow-up.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance collection strategies and overall performance.
• Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations governing debt collection.
• Provide exceptional customer service during difficult conversations.
• Generate reports on collection performance and account status.
• Prior experience in debt collection, collections, or a similar field is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Capacity to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
• Familiarity with FDCPA regulations is a plus.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and collection software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously while also contributing to a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional education is advantageous).
