This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +13 more states.
• Build and maintain a positive, trusting relationship with clients.
• Assess and manage mental health disorders.
• Develop and revise personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and situations.
• Regularly meet with patients to deliver services and treatment, adjusting plans as necessary.
• Organize and coordinate necessary services for each individual client.
• Perform ongoing evaluations of patient progress.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions in accordance with the program schedule.
• Involve and counsel family members when appropriate.
• Refer patients to external specialists or agencies as needed.
• Keep detailed records of patient interactions and progress.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain client confidentiality.
• Regularly communicate with outpatient providers to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Participate in weekly staff meetings to discuss individual cases.
• Attend weekly treatment team meetings to review client progress.
• Develop weekly tailored therapeutic and experiential opportunities for clients and communicate these to them.
• Conduct concurrent insurance reviews for individual clients.
• Participate in advocacy efforts for mental health parity.
• Engage in community speaking opportunities to raise awareness about eating disorders.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
• A Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Must hold a full license and be able to work independently.
• Ability to obtain licensure in other states when required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in treating clients with Eating Disorders.
• Ability to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of various models and theories related to eating disorders, trauma, mental illness, and associated issues.
• Knowledge of treatment philosophies, practices, policies, outcomes, and recovery models for dually diagnosed populations.
• Familiarity with diagnostic criteria for co-occurring conditions and the ability to conceptualize modalities and placement criteria within the continuum of care.
• Awareness of diverse cultures and gender-specific issues, and the ability to incorporate the needs of gender and culturally diverse groups into practice settings.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Capacity to prioritize tasks and work independently.
