This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +13 more states.
• Build a positive and trusting relationship with clients.
• Assess and provide treatment for mental health disorders.
• Develop and revise personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and situations.
• Conduct regular meetings with patients to deliver services and treatment, making adjustments to treatment plans as required.
• Organize and coordinate necessary services for each client.
• Perform continuous evaluations of patient progress.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions in accordance with the program schedule.
• Engage and provide guidance to family members when suitable.
• Refer patients to external specialists or agencies as needed.
• Keep comprehensive records of patient interactions and progress.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain confidentiality of clients.
• Maintain consistent communication with outpatient providers to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Participate in weekly staff meetings to discuss individual cases.
• Attend weekly treatment team meetings to review clients' individual progress.
• Design weekly personalized therapeutic and experiential activities for clients and share them with patients.
• Conduct concurrent insurance evaluations for individual clients.
• Actively participate in ongoing advocacy for mental health equity.
• Engage in community speaking events to promote awareness of eating disorders.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Must hold a full license and be able to work independently.
• Capability to obtain licensure in other states if necessary.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in treating clients with Eating Disorders.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of various models and theories related to eating disorders, trauma, mental illness, and associated issues.
• Familiarity with treatment philosophies, practices, policies, and outcomes for dually diagnosed populations, including recovery, relapse prevention, and continuing care.
• Understanding of diagnostic criteria for co-occurring conditions and ability to conceptualize modalities and placement criteria within the continuum of care.
• Awareness of diverse cultures and gender-specific issues, with the ability to integrate the needs of gender and culturally diverse groups into practice.
• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
• Proficient in prioritizing tasks and working autonomously.
