
Territory Manager, Structural Heart – Cardiac Surgery

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Advocate for and assist Abbott Structural Heart’s Surgical Valves division in conjunction with the Regional Sales Director and Senior Territory Manager.
• Formulate business expansion strategies and risk management plans to meet sales targets within designated accounts.
• Negotiate contracts with customers and enhance opportunities for market growth.
• Establish and nurture relationships while collaborating with healthcare providers.
• Keep leaders in Abbott Surgical Valves updated on market conditions and competitive activities.
• Create and execute sales strategies based on product offerings, reimbursement scenarios, and other account-related factors.
• Work in partnership with interventionalists, echocardiologists, sonographers, cardiac anesthesiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, and catheter lab management.
• Drive referrals, assist with procedure scheduling, and help ensure successful clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with the local Senior Account Manager on clinical case coverage, technical support, in-service programs, and training initiatives.
• Develop action plans on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis using sales data, reports, market intelligence, and analytics.
• Discuss emerging issues and trends with the Regional Sales Director to aid in reaching sales objectives.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• A degree in Life Sciences or Marketing is preferred.
• Over 5 years of relevant sales experience in the medical device field (specifically cardiovascular or structural heart), or equivalent clinical experience.
• Familiarity with products used in interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery.
• Knowledge of echocardiology and other forms of indirect imaging.
• Strong organizational, communication, and process management skills.
• Capability to support business planning, strategic initiatives, forecasting, sales processes, and inventory oversight.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more.
• Confirmation that all vendor credentialing requirements will be fulfilled, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.
• Ability to adhere to relevant Abbott Corporate and Divisional Policies and Procedures.
