Technical Solutions Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with all business units to evaluate their technology requirements.

• Develop implementation strategies for introducing new technologies to the organization or reconfiguring existing systems as necessary, adhering to change management protocols.

• Ensure comprehensive documentation, notification, escalation, tracking, and follow-up on all incidents.

• Design and implement solutions that fulfill business requirements in Azure and other cloud platforms.

• Serve as the escalation point for issues that cannot be resolved by first and second tier IT support.

• Offer guidance and best practices related to technologies for end user computing in a remote-first, cloud-first setting.

• Work closely with the Security team to implement necessary security measures and controls.

• Be available for on-call escalation support, including weekends and holidays.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.

• Provide support for Windows desktops/laptops, MacBooks, printers, peripherals, networking infrastructure, and other computer-related devices.

• Implement automation to eliminate manual dependencies across all IT functions.

• Contribute valuable input during the change management process.

• Collaborate with third-party service providers to resolve issues as needed.

• Participate in periodic maintenance and infrastructure improvement projects during after-hours and weekends.

• Ensure all incidents are logged in the Jira ticketing system.

• Maintain consistent process implementation across the team through regular communication.

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in writing, executing, and automating tasks using at least one scripting language (Powershell, Go, Python, Bash), including knowledge of source control in a production environment.

• Familiar with Azure Automation Accounts, Function Apps, and Storage Accounts.

• Strong understanding of APIs and their methods, including interaction with RESTful endpoints and the use of common HTTP verbs (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE) for integration with various systems and services.

• Knowledge and/or experience in implementing SSO and SCIM provisioning for third-party applications.

• Working knowledge of Power Automate and Power BI.

• Over 2 years of experience in implementing and administering Microsoft Entra ID within an enterprise environment.

• More than 2 years of experience with Azure (or equivalent cloud providers like AWS, GCP, etc.).

• Deep understanding of supporting a remote-first, cloud-first end user computing environment.

• Over 2 years of experience designing and implementing end user computing solutions in a cloud-first context.

• Proficient in implementing policies and managing devices via Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager (compliance policies, conditional access, application deployment, AAD Join, Autopilot).

• More than 2 years of experience designing and implementing MDM solutions such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Mosyle, JAMF, or AirWatch.

• Advanced troubleshooting skills for Windows and MacOS.

• Comprehensive understanding of Windows and MacOS best practices (Deployment, Security, Patching).

• Experience in packaging and deploying software using Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager.

• Experience in automating Windows driver installations using manufacturer-supplied packages.

• Profound knowledge of cloud technologies and automation focused on end user computing solutions.

• Ability to prioritize tasks based on departmental and production objectives.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong peer-to-peer training and leadership capabilities.
