Technical Solutions Consultant – SQL

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist the primary Technical Account Manager (TAM) in overseeing the health and performance of Varicent solutions for a portfolio of high-profile customers.

• Aid in training users on fundamental Varicent functionalities, configuration principles, and best-practice strategies.

• Engage in evaluating new features, fixes, and release notes to assess their potential impact on the customer's environment.

• Help configure Varicent solutions based on documented customer requirements, guided by the senior TAM.

• Compile and present monthly summaries of performance, utilization, and support-related metrics.

• Examine solution usage and data trends to identify potential issues or areas for enhancement.

• Assist in executing proactive maintenance initiatives and implementing solution improvements.

• Work collaboratively with TAMs and internal teams to troubleshoot errors, investigate defects, and support optimization efforts.

• Recognize opportunities for customer value realization and present them to the primary TAM for strategic assessment.

• Engage in discussions with customers that position Varicent products as tailored solutions for processing challenges, facilitating thoughtful upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities.

• Collaborate with the TAM team to promote sustainable customer engagement, successful project outcomes, and product adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT consulting or enterprise software implementation.

• Previous experience with query-based languages and relational databases.

• Technical data skills, including substantial experience with SQL data manipulation and Microsoft Excel.

• Preferred: Familiarity with the Sales Performance Management domain.

• Strongly Preferred: Hands-on experience with Varicent software products (administering, implementing, and/or supporting).

• Basic understanding of system configurations, data models, and best practices for data integration.
