Technical Lead – Data Migration, Testing & Quality Execution

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Lead comprehensive data migration initiatives, encompassing planning, mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.

• Design and implement data migration strategies and methodologies specifically for Skadina projects.

• Supervise functional, integration, system, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts.

• Maintain data quality, integrity, and consistency throughout the migration and deployment processes.

• Create and evaluate test plans, test cases, test scripts, and quality metrics.

• Manage defect tracking, issue resolution, and root cause analysis operations.

• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.

• Assist in cutover planning, deployment processes, and post-go-live stabilization efforts.

• Oversee project quality standards and ensure adherence to established procedures and best practices.

• Offer technical leadership and mentorship to project teams during migration and testing phases.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, migration plans, and testing reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• **Required Qualifications:**

• - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• - At least 8+ years of experience in enterprise application implementation, with extensive experience in data migration and testing.

• - Demonstrated hands-on experience with the **Skadina platform**.

• - Strong background in data migration, ETL processes, data mapping, and data validation.

• - Proven experience leading testing efforts, including SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing.

• - Comprehensive understanding of software quality assurance methodologies and defect management processes.

• - Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.

• - Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• - Experience operating in Agile/Scrum settings.

• **Preferred Qualifications:**

• - Experience in large-scale digital transformation or migration initiatives.

• - Preference for experience in government or public sector projects.

• - Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
