Technical Applications Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development and maintenance of integrations across essential systems (WMS, OMS, Shopify, EDI platforms).

• Provide support for API- and EDI-driven workflows, including ingestion and postback processes for orders, inventory, and fulfillments.

• Carry out application and integration setups, including API/EDI configurations and system onboarding activities.

• Conduct SQL-based data operations, including bulk updates, inserts, and data corrections to assist with implementations and problem resolution.

• Aid in the setup of application master data (SKUs, locations, mappings, carrier/service configurations).

• Develop and refine SQL queries for reporting, troubleshooting, and data validation purposes.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of data pipelines (e.g., Snowflake, ETL processes).

• Diagnose integration issues and engage in root cause analysis across various systems.

• Collaborate with IT, Operations, and Client Services to provide scalable technical solutions.

• Assist in converting business requirements into technical configurations, including familiarity with contract/SOW analysis and rule-based system setups (e.g., billing or order management rules).

• Maintain and enhance internal documentation, SOPs, and integration mapping standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of development experience or relevant academic coursework.

• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript.

• Fundamental understanding of SQL (queries, joins, dataset filtering).

• Familiarity with APIs (REST/JSON) and data structures.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

• Exposure to data platforms such as Snowflake or equivalent.

• Experience with API tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.).

• Understanding of ETL/data pipeline concepts.

• Familiarity with eCommerce or 3PL systems (Shopify, WMS, EDI) is advantageous.

• Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git).
