This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.
• You will lead the architecture team within the Applications & Services unit (currently comprising 4 employees), both in a technical capacity and as a people manager, with a deliberate focus on coaching, achieving targets, and fostering continuous improvement.
• You are responsible for coordinating, prioritizing, and ensuring the quality of the team's tasks while guaranteeing efficient service delivery.
• You will coordinate the architecture boards and play an active role in shaping the ongoing development of the company-wide architecture governance.
• You will contribute to transformation and architecture initiatives, taking on a central role that includes structuring, visualizing, and providing methodological guidance, with a clear emphasis on actionable and sustainable solutions.
• You will ensure close and effective collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders, particularly business representatives, Business Development, Business Applications, Business Analysts, and other IT and business units.
• You will actively support and empower teams and stakeholders by providing structure, clarity, and methodological rigor to complex initiatives and establishing robust foundations for decision-making.
• In workshops, you will be direct: preparing audience-specific materials, facilitating sessions in an organized manner, and transparently documenting results.
• You will ensure consistency and clarity across all architecture domains (Business, Application, Data, Technology, Security) and bridge the gap between strategic target architectures and operational execution.
• You will drive the advancement of architecture methodology, standards, and processes, establishing a unified understanding of architecture across the organization.
• You will monitor technological trends and support the development of target architectures, roadmaps, principles, and standards, ensuring clear and traceable documentation in the relevant tools.
• You will navigate confidently between strategic topics and daily operations, bringing structure to complex environments involving multiple expert teams.
• Several years of experience in a leadership position or as a team, project, or architecture lead within an IT or business setting.
• Demonstrated experience in transformation projects, ideally serving as an architect or in a comparable key role.
• Strong background in IT architecture with exposure across multiple domains (e.g., business, application, technology, or enterprise architecture).
• Experience in Enterprise Architecture is advantageous.
• A degree in (business) computer science or a related qualification.
• Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities, along with a genuine interest in fostering both professional and personal development within the team.
• A high level of responsibility, decisiveness, and initiative, paired with an open and collaborative communication style.
• Familiarity with architecture methods, frameworks, governance structures, and experience working in architecture boards or similar committees.
• Proficient in using methods and tools for structuring, visualizing, and facilitating (e.g., for workshops, modeling, and decision-making).
• Strong technical understanding of modern IT landscapes, ideally with knowledge in areas such as Microsoft technologies, ITSM, platforms, and hybrid environments.
• Ability to connect business, technical, and organizational perspectives and mediate between various stakeholder groups.
• A structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to work, with the ability to create clarity even in complex situations.
• Enjoyment in working at the intersection of strategic target architectures and everyday operations, developing sustainable solutions in collaboration with diverse expert teams.
• Proficiency in German and very good English skills, both written and spoken.
