Team Lead – AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and create scalable backend systems and applications powered by AI.

• Integrate large language model APIs (such as OpenAI, LangChain, etc.) into various business applications.

• Develop and sustain backend services and APIs that support AI-driven functionalities.

• Contribute to the creation of AI-enhanced applications, including chatbots and automation tools.

• Mentor and support junior developers, promoting high standards of code quality and best practices.

• Focus on enhancing the performance, latency, and reliability of AI systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert requirements into actionable solutions.

• Identify and resolve issues in production systems through troubleshooting and debugging.

• Engage in sprint planning activities and ensure the timely completion of assigned modules.

• Familiarity with basic MLOps practices, such as model deployment, monitoring, and versioning (preferred).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (B.E/B.Tech/MCA).

• 3–5 years of professional experience in software development, particularly in Python-based backend development.

• Practical experience or exposure to AI, ML, NLP, or Generative AI applications.

• Proven experience in developing and deploying APIs, microservices, and scalable applications.

• Familiarity with the integration of LLM APIs or AI services into practical applications.

• Exposure to MLOps principles, including model deployment, monitoring, or lifecycle management (preferred).

• Demonstrated ability to mentor or guide junior team members or interns.

• Experience in Agile methodologies, contributing to sprint-based development cycles.

• Capacity to own modules or features and deliver them with minimal oversight.

• Background in debugging, performance optimization, and providing production support.
