This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Coordinate and engage in audits and verifications on state portals and associated systems, including the validation of general information;
• Submission of ancillary obligations (DeSTDA, Sintegra, SPED Fiscal, and related filings);
• Registration and upkeep of company records within workflows;
• Manage client communications and relationships;
• Address inquiries in group forums and Q&A channels;
• Resolve state-level tax concerns;
• Prepare studies and conduct necessary training on state-related tax issues;
• Organize the team to ensure adherence to state routines and deadlines;
• Monitor updates in state tax legislation and other legal changes that affect routines;
• Investigate new technologies and implement automation in departmental processes;
• Advanced understanding of tax legislation;
• Advanced knowledge of specific taxation rules and regimes;
• Advanced familiarity with fiscal routines and procedures;
• Capability to lead client meetings on particular tax and fiscal matters;
• Advanced experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly with formulas/spreadsheets;
• Advanced expertise in calculations for tax rate differentials (DIFAL), tax anticipation, and ICMS Tax Substitution;
• Advanced comprehension of the monophase collection regime for PIS and COFINS;
• Advanced skills in tax analysis and tax calculation/assessment;
• Extensive experience using government portals and resolving outstanding issues;
• Advanced knowledge of Cost and Management Accounting;
• Proficient in Tax Planning;
• Competent in issuing invoices for merchandise movements;
• Advanced knowledge of Simples Nacional and Presumed Profit (Lucro Presumido) regimes;
• Advanced understanding of ICMS legislation and state-level agreements;
• Advanced knowledge of accounting entries and bookkeeping;
• Advanced familiarity with ancillary obligations at the state and federal levels, including SPED Fiscal;
• Advanced understanding of procedures for incoming and outgoing invoices;
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Ciências Contábeis);
