Systems Engineer – Microsoft 365

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee, configure, enhance, and provide support for Microsoft 365 applications and services throughout the organization

• Design, develop, and sustain SharePoint Online environments, including permissions, governance, workflows, and integrations

• Provide support for Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Planner, Loop, Copilot, and other M365 collaboration tools

• Manage configurations across the tenant, including licensing, compliance, security settings, and role-based access controls

• Assist with Entra ID (Azure AD) identity management, authentication processes, and conditional access policies

• Implement and uphold Microsoft 365 security, governance, retention, and compliance standards

• Diagnose and resolve intricate M365 performance, connectivity, and integration challenges

• Facilitate upgrades, patches, migrations, and enhancements to the platform

• Collaborate with technical and operational stakeholders to deliver scalable collaboration and productivity solutions

• Create automation and workflow solutions aimed at boosting operational efficiency

• Guide junior team members while providing technical leadership and consultative support

• Engage in after-hours support, on-call rotation, and emergency/hurricane response duties as required

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant technical position

• Extensive experience with: SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Copilot, Planner, and Loop

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Administration

• Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and identity/access management

• Familiarity with Power Platform, Power Automate, or workflow automation tools

• Strong comprehension of Microsoft 365 security, governance, compliance, and best practices in administration

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline

• Equivalent relevant work experience may be accepted in place of a degree
