📋 Description

• Grasp and interpret business objectives, operational challenges, and strategic goals to determine system requirements.

• Identify, assess, and suggest alternative technical and process solutions to satisfy business needs.

• Conduct feasibility, impact, and cost/benefit analyses for proposed modifications and new solutions.

• Examine user requirements, procedures, and issues to ascertain methods for automating processes or enhancing existing computer systems.

• Collaborate with personnel across pertinent organizational units to review and evaluate current operational procedures and workflows.

• Pinpoint issues, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Define specific input and output requirements, including data entry formats, data summarization, and report layouts.

• Create comprehensive documentation of user needs, system and program functionalities, and the steps necessary for developing, configuring, or modifying applications.

• Review system capabilities, technical specifications, integration points, and scheduling constraints to ascertain whether requested programs or modifications can be supported in the current environment.

• Work collaboratively with developers, architects, and other IT personnel to convert functional requirements into technical specifications and design artifacts.

• Offer guidance on system configuration, data structures, interfaces, and workflows to ensure alignment with business needs.

• Evaluate the impact of new requirements or changes on existing systems, processes, and data.

• Suggest sequencing, phasing, and prioritization of system changes to minimize disruption and enhance value.

• Assist in the planning and coordination of system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.

• Aid in the development of test plans, scenarios, and scripts based on requirements and system design.

• Support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring that solutions implemented meet documented requirements and business expectations.

• Conduct post-implementation analysis and support to verify the effectiveness of solutions and identify opportunities for further optimization.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• 8 years – Required: Hands-on experience with Python, including the development, debugging, and maintenance of scripts and applications that facilitate system integration, data processing, automation, or similar technical solutions.

• Must successfully pass a background check.

• Minimum Skills: Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and articulately.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to analyze systems and procedures.

• Strong multitasking abilities with the capacity to manage multiple design streams across concurrent work efforts.

• Must be self-driven and able to work effectively both independently and within a multi-functional team.

• Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information.

• Desired Qualifications: 2 years – Preferred: Experience in development for Snowflake Database, including schema design, query development, and performance optimization for analytics and operational workloads.

• 2 years – Preferred: Experience in building solutions such as Snowpipe, implementing continuous or near-real-time data ingestion pipelines into Snowflake from various sources.

• 2 years – Preferred: Experience in creating User Defined Functions (UDFs) in Snowflake, utilizing SQL and/or Python to encapsulate business logic, transformations, or calculations.

• 1 year – Preferred: Experience in developing solutions in Snowflake that feature a custom user interface, such as web-based or internal tools that interact with Snowflake data and services to provide users with interactive dashboards, input forms, or workflow capabilities.
