This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
β’ Develop, uphold, support, and implement the OhioHealth Ethics and Compliance Program.
β’ Oversee daily management, planning, and supervision of the Ethics and Compliance Department.
β’ Foster collaborative relationships with all OhioHealth associates and physicians.
β’ Stay updated on state and federal healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.
β’ Execute special projects as assigned by the Ethics and Compliance Officer.
β’ Master's Degree (Required).
β’ CPA - Certified Public Accountant - American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
β’ MBA - State of Ohio.
β’ 8 to 15 years of experience in a healthcare compliance program or a related field.
β’ Licensed CPA, MBA, or in a related discipline.
β’ Certifications may be necessary: Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist - Physician Base (CCS-P), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
β’ Extensive regulatory knowledge of federal and state privacy laws, healthcare laws, regulations, and standards, including fraud, abuse, and compliance.
β’ Familiarity with CPT Coding, ICD-10, Compliance Programs, and conducting and overseeing Investigations and Auditing.
β’ Proficient with personal computers and relevant software.
