• Develop, uphold, support, and implement the OhioHealth Ethics and Compliance Program.
• Oversee daily management, planning, and supervision of the Ethics and Compliance Department.
• Foster collaborative relationships with all OhioHealth associates and physicians.
• Stay updated on state and federal healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.
• Execute special projects as assigned by the Ethics and Compliance Officer.
• Master's Degree (Required).
• CPA - Certified Public Accountant - American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
• MBA - State of Ohio.
• 8 to 15 years of experience in a healthcare compliance program or a related field.
• Licensed CPA, MBA, or in a related discipline.
• Certifications may be necessary: Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist - Physician Base (CCS-P), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
• Extensive regulatory knowledge of federal and state privacy laws, healthcare laws, regulations, and standards, including fraud, abuse, and compliance.
• Familiarity with CPT Coding, ICD-10, Compliance Programs, and conducting and overseeing Investigations and Auditing.
• Proficient with personal computers and relevant software.
