Sustainability Consulting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist LCA practitioners in gathering data, developing life cycle inventories (LCI), and modeling LCA using tools such as SimaPro or GaBi.

• Aid in the preparation of reports, presentations, and visualizations that effectively convey sustainability findings and recommendations to clients.

• Support the creation of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and associated client deliverables under guidance.

• Conduct preliminary research on sustainability standards, materials, and opportunities for reducing environmental impacts.

• Analyze both operational and product-level data to pinpoint trends and areas for enhancement.

• Assist in maintaining organized workflows and documentation for project activities, data sources, and model assumptions.

• Engage in team meetings and collaborate across functions to ensure the successful execution of projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related technical field.

• Over 1 year of relevant experience in sustainability, environmental analysis, LCA, or data-driven environmental research (internships and academic projects are included).

• Familiarity with LCA software tools such as SimaPro, GaBi, OneClick LCA, or OpenLCA (coursework or exposure is acceptable).

• Understanding of LCA frameworks and standards (ISO 14040/44, ISO 14067, ISO 21930, EN15804).

• Proficient in Excel and data analysis; capable of handling large datasets and performing basic quantitative modeling.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly synthesize complex technical information.

• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and the capability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-oriented environment.
