SQL Lead Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• **🔑 Key Responsibilities:**

• - Collect requirements independently, prioritize, deliver, maintain, and enhance reusable data models, dashboards, analyses, A/B tests, and various data assets. Act as the product manager and implementer for your domain's data offerings by utilizing advanced SQL and BI tools.

• - Become the subject matter expert on data within your business areas. Identify impactful opportunities, proactively present insights, support decision-making, and influence business strategy. Serve as a trusted partner to business stakeholders while also supporting other business areas as necessary.

• - Develop and maintain detailed data documentation, communicate updates to stakeholders, write user stories for data engineering, validate data mapping, perform QA, and implement data quality monitoring.

• - Track the usage of data assets, enhance data literacy, and encourage self-service through BI tools by providing training, guidance, and continuous support.

• - Operate within a centralized data team using agile methodologies. Collaborate with peer analysts on shared initiatives, adapt to shifting priorities, and conduct code reviews to expand your business and technical expertise.

• - Collaborate with data architects, engineers, scientists, and analysts to help define the vision and roadmap for the organization's data platform. Establish and monitor annual OKRs to assess your impact.

⛳️ Requirements

• **💡 Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise**

• - Over 7 years of experience as a Data Analyst supporting business stakeholders and working alongside data engineers (experience in the energy or construction sectors is advantageous but not mandatory).

• - A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is preferred; an advanced degree is a plus.

• - Advanced skills in SQL and BI tools (experience with Databricks and Sigma is a plus, but not required).

• - Proven history of independently resolving complex problems.

• - A strong passion for leveraging data to drive business decisions and support sustainability initiatives.

• - Excellent communication abilities, capable of presenting ideas and insights to stakeholders throughout the organization.

• - Demonstrated initiative in enhancing processes, products, or services, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• - Strong analytical skills with the capability to identify root causes and propose innovative, data-driven solutions.

• - Ability to foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• - Willingness to understand business operations and utilize that knowledge to aid in strategic decision-making.
