This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Lead and engage in audits of quality systems, products, and processes.

• Schedule and communicate audit plans with suppliers and team members.

• Perform research and planning prior to audits.

• Execute audits effectively.

• Oversee and facilitate the thorough analysis and implementation of Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCAs).

• Manage internal and external communications as necessary.

• Develop and help maintain standard operating procedures for the audit process.

• Assist in creating the annual audit schedule.

• Collaborate and communicate with various groups and levels of management at Pratt & Whitney.

• Lead and take part in initiatives aimed at process improvement.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.

• 50–75% travel required, both domestically and internationally.

• At least 3 years of auditing experience within the aerospace industry.

• Strong understanding of AS9100 standards.

• Preferred certifications include ASQ, RABQSA, and/or Lead Auditor credentials.

• Basic understanding of special processes, manufacturing processes, manufacturing software, inspection processes, engineering, purchasing, programs, contracts, process control, First Article Inspection (FAI), non-conforming material management, and Corrective Action Request (CAR) management is preferred.

• Preferred knowledge in collecting, analyzing, and translating process data into actionable insights for senior management.

• A customer-centric approach, sound business judgment, adaptability, teamwork, and strong communication skills are preferred.

• Familiarity with CORE principles, particularly RCCA/8D methodology, is preferred.

• Understanding of industry standards and Pratt & Whitney's engineering, quality, and manufacturing requirements, including work instructions and quality manuals, is preferred.
