• Provide assistance in the preparation, issuance, and management of subcontract agreements.
• Aid in coordinating solicitation activities with prospective subcontractors.
• Support the evaluation and analysis of proposals and quotations.
• Maintain and document subcontract files.
• Ensure that subcontract actions comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Draft correspondence to subcontractors and internal staff.
• Review requisitions, and process purchase orders and modifications.
• Collaborate with the accounting and finance departments to manage subcontract invoices and payments.
• Assist in achieving small business subcontracting objectives and outreach initiatives.
• Finalize subcontracts.
• Perform all other duties related to the position as assigned or requested.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline along with 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, contracts administration, or related business functions.
• Proven experience in reviewing, writing, and editing contracts.
• Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
• Experience in supporting government contracts or defense programs.
• Background in working within a cross-functional team alongside program management, finance, and contract teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontract actions in a client-facing role.
• Experience in supporting contract documentation, file management, and procurement administrative processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling several subcontract actions concurrently.
• Familiarity with Costpoint or similar ERP systems, particularly the purchasing module.
• Experience with procurement systems such as OnBase, Deltek Time and Expense, SAP, or similar systems and electronic filing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools for reporting, documentation, and data tracking.
