Storage Specialist – SRE III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Oversee enterprise storage management on Hitachi VSP Gx00 and 5x00, including LUN and volume provisioning, troubleshooting, and replication using GAD, UR, and SI.

• Manage NetApp AFF and FAS storage, providing SAN and NAS services, ensuring provisioning and health, resolving issues, and setting up SnapMirror replication.

• Administer Purestorage X90 for daily operations, provisioning, and incident resolution.

• Operate Brocade GEN5 and later switches and directors, executing zoning, pathing, and diagnostics.

• Utilize Hitachi OPS Center for monitoring Hitachi arrays and performance analysis, NetApp Active IQ Unified Manager for tracking NetApp health and capacity, and Brocade BNA for managing Brocade fabrics and event reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Storage Specialist.

• Proficiency with Hitachi VSP Gx00/5x00 (GAD, UR, SI) and Hitachi OPS Center.

• Experience with NetApp AFF/FAS (SAN/NAS) including SnapMirror and Active IQ Unified Manager.

• Familiarity with Pure Storage X90.

• Knowledge of Brocade (Gen5+): switches/directors and BNA for management and analytics.

• Experience with Dell Storage (VMAX, VNX, VPLEX, RecoverPoint – SRDF): management, provisioning, troubleshooting, and replication.

• Proficiency with IBM DS8000: management, provisioning, troubleshooting, and replication.

• Experience with Cisco Nexus: management and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow ticket management.

• Strong communication skills, proactive attitude, and a team-oriented mindset.
