Staff Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold robust, isolated security frameworks

• Act as the technical authority during vendor assessments

• Create 'Gold Image' standards for swift onboarding processes

• Direct responses to advanced persistent threats (APTs) and intricate breaches

• Perform comprehensive Root Cause Analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence

• Build automation to interconnect various technical systems

• Develop tailored API integrations for efficient auto-remediation

• Serve as a senior advisor for strategic accounts

• Manage the collection of technical evidence for compliance purposes

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in Information Security

• At least 3 years in multi-client consulting or managed service provider (MSP) settings

• Proficient in AWS/Azure security at an expert level

• Advanced skills in IAM/Entra ID

• Extensive experience in SOAR/SIEM engineering (including Sentinel, Splunk, CrowdStrike)

• Strong proficiency in Python, Terraform, or Ansible

• CISSP (Highly Preferred), CISM, CCSP, or specialized GIAC (GCIH/GCFA) certifications

• Ability to communicate in multiple languages
